If you like to mix
some swank with your nightlife, you'll love the Empire Ballroom
nightclub. Created from the ashes of the former Club Utopia, and
located on the strip across from the Monte Carlo, Empire Ballroom
treats guests to an alluring entrance hall that leads to a full-on
bass-in-your-face main room, complete with an enormous chandelier that
towers over the pulsating dance floor and highlights the dusky earth
tones of the room's decor.
On a level above, cabanas offer a private eagle's eye view of the
dance floor from within rooms awash in candlelight.
After opening in September 2005, Empire Ballroom night club quickly
became a local hotspot, catering to the wee-hours-of-the morning club,
made up primarily of hospitality industry employees coming off
all-night shifts. Even today, the fun really begins after 2:00 am.
However, efforts have recently been made to attract top talent to
appeal to regular club goers and music lovers who might not normally
visit the club. Additionally, Sunset Strip sensation and tribute band
Metal Skool regularly appears to wow the crowd with their rendition of
favorite 80s rock. If you're planning on going, expect to spend over
an hour behind the velvet ropes awaiting admission.
For a $30 cover charge and $5 parking fee, Empire Ballroom offers a
winning combination of variety, glitz and hometown friendliness that
pleases the most discriminating club goer. The dress code is
considered a bit more casual than several other popular Las Vegas club
venues, however the same rules apply as to no baseball hats, tennis
shoes, sweats, t-shirts, and the like. For most guests, one trip
inside the doors of the Empire will confirm that everyone dresses to
impress, even when the rules say you don't have to. And, if you're
looking to spend some extra bucks on privacy and special treatment,
table reservations are available starting at $200, depending on the
number of guests and other factors.
With top music acts, well known area DJs spinning popular house &
techno beats, and a dazzling crowd of beautiful people, Empire
Ballroom continues to be the number 1 place to go for after hours
nightlife.
