The
Resort
This newest Vegas resort on hotshot developer Steve Wynn’s resume stands adjacent to the Wynn, echoing
not only its shape, but its special elegance and luxury as well.
At Encore Las Vegas resort you can expect the best the city has to
offer, from the accommodations to the restaurants and entertainment.
The opulence starts with the generously
sized suites, none of which clock in at below 698 square feet. These
beautifully decorated mini pleasure palaces set the mood for what’s
sure to be a great time in this most luxurious of resort hotels.
Entertainment & Restaurants
As expected, the Encore’s principal entertainment option is none
other than one of the best.
Literally – in house entertainer Garth Brooks has been selling out
in Las Vegas every weekend.
This show is a guaranteed good time, with the talented song writer
unleashing a variety of hits.
You can dine like a Rat Packer at the delightful throwback Sinatra,
or taste all the flavors of the Asian continent at the innovative
café Wazuzu. Steak lovers will find a great meal at Botero and the
French inspired Switch.
Nightlife
Never has a Vegas club been more accurately named then Encore’s own
XS. This
poolside ultralounge gleams with all the luxurious touches you’d
expect, and (of course) so much more.
Bottle
service is available at the indoor tables as well as outside in
poolside cabanas, allowing you to take advantage of the warm desert
air and killer view. The dance floor is crowned by a ten foot wide
rotating chandelier, casting the beautiful people there in an even
more flattering light.
What would a showpiece lounge like this be without a special
signature cocktail? At
XS, it’s as over the top extravagant as you would hope: the
signature “Ono” cocktail combines Dom Perignon Enoteque Champagne
with Louis the XIII de Remy Martin Black Pearl Cognac, with a pair
of stingray-embossed sterling silver cufflinks and a woman’s 18k
gold chain with a black pearl and an
XS logo on
the side. This delicious, sparkling display of – you guessed it –
excess will set you back a cool $10,000, which may well be worth the
prestige and the memories.
If the shine of the Encore resort wears off, you can always check out the
Wynn right next door, where you’ll find entertainment, dining, and
nightclubs on par with what the Encore has to offer.
