So you’ve seen
those little coupons online or online guest list services that promise
you the earth at a hot and happening Las Vegas club and you’re
wondering if you should bite. It may be worth your while to stop and
take a second look because some of those wheeling dealing coupons may
just bite back.
The skinny on
line passes, VIP access coupons, and Vegas passport packages...
There are a number
of coupons being sold that carry the promise of no waiting, no cover
charge, freebies or all of the above. That sounds like an awesome deal
considering that waiting in line to get past the front door of a top
nightclub can take three to four hours. Even longer on holiday
weekends. Folks looking to go club hopping would also appreciate being
able to bypass the cover charge. And of course, there’s always the
club bias toward women that tends to keep males standing in line for
much of the night. Line passes and passport packages that cut through
all of that sure do sound like a great deal for the regular Joe that
can’t get in on the guest list.

Why don’t VIP passes work?
Every weekend all
the top Las Vegas night clubs are at their maximum occupancy, all
complete with over populated guest lists. Under such circumstances
they aren’t interested in clearing a path for clubbers with "VIP line
passes" from sites such as Vegas.com. You will however get to stand in
a one hour line instead of a 3 hour line.
Why don’t VIP Coupons work?
If you look closer at the fine print on some of these passes you’ll
notice all the restrictions that apply to that particular coupon or
VIP pass. In some cases, they are only valid at smaller clubs. If it’s
valid for a top nightclub, it will likely be restricted to a certain
time day of the week. It is very unlikely that you’ll get a line pass
to a major hotspot on a weekend or holiday night that you can use
before it expires.
There’s always the disclaimer, “management reserves all rights” that
inevitably means your going to be treated like everyone else unless
you’re all extreme hotties or ready to tip out big.
So what are
they good for? |

If you’ve already got your hands on a few of these babies, there’s no
need to chuck them out just yet. They may not transform you to instant
VIP status, get you on the guest list or walk you straight in, but
they could still save you some cash. Think of them as discount coupons
rather than line passes. If you’re into seeing a variety of what
different clubs on the Strip have to offer, saving the cover charge
could pay for the cost of the coupon book. On average, the cost is
comparable to the cover charge from visiting about four clubs, which
could make it worth your while. If some of the offers in your Vegas
coupon book provide freebies or decent opportunities, albeit at less
popular clubs, you could still make it work for you and enjoy yourself
at the same time. You may not be beating any of the lines, but the
lines at smaller clubs usually aren’t that long anyway. Plus, you
won’t have to deal with the heavy crowds at the hot zones. VIP status
it won’t give you, but if you’re a bargain hunter, this option may be
worth a [very close] second look.
If on the other hand you are looking to walk straight in consider our
hosted
entrance or
bottle service.
