February is the shortest month of the year. But don’t let that fool
you. This month is packed full of great Las Vegas entertainment and
awesome events to keep visitors thoroughly entertained. Pop rock
group OneRepublic takes the stage Saturday, the 6th at
the newly opened nightclub,
Haze,
inside Aria. The widely popular band hit it big in 2007 with their
hits “Apologize” and “Stop and Stare” on their debut album “Dreaming
Out Loud”. They’ll be promoting their newest work “Waking Up”.
Expect them to perform their latest singles “All the Right Moves”
and “Secrets”.
Haze
strikes again Thursday, the 11th as rap prodigy Drake
takes over. With his songs, “Best I Ever Had”, “Every Girl” and
“Successful” being
blasted on
the radio all over the country, he’s sure to bring in a packed
house. The one time “Degrassi: The Next Generation” actor took
flight with his rap career after the release of his critically
acclaimed mix tape “So Far Gone”. Now linked with hip hop star Lil
Wayne’s record label Young Money, he’s sure to see much success as
one or rap’s youngest superstars.
As reality TV continues to dominate the
airwaves, two of its dearest children will host the party at
Pure on
Saturday the 13th. Be sure to catch Heidi sporting some
new threads from her own clothing line Heidiwood. From one diva to
another, hip hop empress Lil Kim will be lighting up the stage at
Pure once again on Friday the 26th. The self proclaimed Queen Bee
is coming off a fairly recent run on the 8th season of
the hit show “Dancing with the Stars” where she traded in her
microphone for a pair of dancing shoes and waltzed, sambaed and
tangoed for a total of 9 weeks until she was voted off. Expect the
unexpected when the notoriously unpredictable struts her stuff and
performs past chart toppers like “Crush on You” and “Magic Stick”.
Pure
continues it streak as it closes out February with actress, singer,
model and all around personality Lindsay Lohan on Saturday the 27th.
You can catch her later this year in the films “The Other Side” a
drama alongside Woody Harrelson and “Machete” with Jessica Alba. To
