What's New For Las Vegas2010?
Thousands
upon thousands of visitors from all corners of the globe came once again
to Las Vegas to ring in New Years Eve 2010. The streets were
bursting with some 315,000 excited partiers.
Hotels
were at an all time high occupancy rate of 96%
as hotel
and flight packages were reduced. Celebrities such as Carmen
Electra hosted live nightlife television programs that were broadcasted all
over the world. There was no shortage of excitement as the
enormous crowd chanted “3…2…1”. With the launch of the multi billion
dollar CityCenter there was no denying that New Years Eve 2010 Las
Vegas was one of the most impressive ever, with the addition
of three grandiose nightclubs, ringing in 2010 was an exceptionally
memorable night in Sin City. The three venues
that made there big debut were
Vanity,
inside the
Hard Rock,
Haze
inside the Aria and
Eve in
the Crystals entertainment complex, the latter two inside the new
mini metropolis, CityCenter. The
Hard Rock
Hotel and Casino has been a mainstay of
entertainment for the young and hip since its inception in 1995. The
party still rages on fifteen years later as its newest nightclub,
Vanity,
hosted by P Diddy opened the doors to eager
VIP party goers. The 15,000 square foot club
revealed a floor-to-ceiling chandelier costing an
extraordinary $1 million, 50 VIP tables and five outdoor cabanas.
This spectacular nightclub is located on the second floor of
the new Hard Rock Hotel suite tower.
Hard Rock
club goers got wild for the last time at the now closed
Body
English. No worries however as the
night spot will reemerge sporting a new after hours club around middle of 2010.
The latest jewel of Las Vegas, CityCenter, an $11 billion mixed-use
urban complex, opened in December 2009. Along with it comes 3 new
hot spots, Gold (A small boutique nightclub at Aria hotel) and
Haze, a cutting edge nightclub
also
inside the Aria Hotel. Managed by the Light Group,
Haze will be the
its newest edition to their stellar assortment of clubs (The
Bank, Jet,
Revolution
Lounge).
Haze
doesn't skimp on any expense to provide its guests
with stimulation for all senses as the award winning design firm ICRAVE takes the reigns. The club features an interactive light
wall spanning 100 feet as well as live performances of a variety of
acts. Top nation DJ Tiesto is expected to spin frequently. A striking staircase leads patrons to the mezzanine level
where they can catch a glimpse of the packed dance floor
from a higher perspective. The ears will not be ignored by
Hazeeither as beats will be blasted through a state-of-the-art sound
system.
Celebrity owned
clubs are nothing new to
Vegas, but when super-vixen Eva Longoria is involved, all bets are off. This
is the case with the nightclub hybrid
Eve, inside
the Crystals entertainment complex at CityCenter. The club features
its own valet service offering a short walk for guests. Eve sports 40
VIP tables. Longoria’s sleek style emanates with black and gold velvet laced
throughout. This super chic nightclub will be a sure place to spot Longoria’s
celebrity brethren and fellow housewives.
Evewill also house the new Beso
restaurant on its lower level.
