The way the cast is able to manipulate
common, everyday objects into a mesmerizing symphony is unbelievable.
The opening of the show gives the audience a feel for how the simple
act of sweeping a floor can create music. Other scenes involve keys
swinging and crates being pushed to create oddly harmonious tones.
But while the musical aspect of Stomp Out Loud might be a big draw,
there are plenty of other elements to the production that will keep
people entertained.
And one of these elements is the
dancing that the group performs. Most of the dancers are very
seasoned and it really shows during the production of Stomp Out Loud
as their moves steal the show at times. Throw in some well-timed
acrobatics and even martial arts type moves and you have quite the
display of bodies moving perfectly to the rhythm of the music.
For those who can get past the simple
awe of the sounds and dancing, there’s a bit of an underlying story at
play too in Stomp Out Loud. The show gives each character a chance to
portray their personality but at the same time shows what great things
can be accomplished in the form of music when these performers work
together.
Aside from the actual production,
anyone wishing to see Stomp Out Loud will also be impressed by the 28
million dollar theatre the show is presented in at Planet Hollywood.
This 1,500 seat theatre was built with Stomp Out Loud in mind and
features a stage centered on providing a working-class, yet vibrant
feel for the world where the characters of the production live. This
well-crafted auditorium is just the icing on the cake for an already
great show.
