Changes Coming to Las Vegas Pool Parties in 2020

The pool party scene will look a bit different this year. Say goodbye to KAOS. The nightclub and dayclub concept at the newly renovated Palms barely lasted six months after opening in April and closing in October. The crowds just weren’t large enough to justify the inflated contracts for talent. Fans of Tao Beach will have to look elsewhere this year. The longtime dayclub at the Venetian is closed for renovations this year. Expect it to look bigger and better when it reopens in 2021. However, Wet Republic is still doing strong. The rowdy pool party at the MGM Grand is celebrating a recent multi-million dollar renovation of its own with a new stage, bungalows, video screens, and more. Venus at Caesars Palace will look different too, but it’s not good news for the party crowd. The formerly tops-optional pool is changing to an all-ages format for 2020. However, it will be the first pool to open for the season at the Garden of the Gods pool complex.
