Drinks often hover above the $20 mark on the Strip, but a few bars are willing to offer a little extra bang for your buck. So check out some of the best choices for cheap bars in Sin City.<\/p>\nBest Cheap Vegas Bars on the Strip\n O’Sheas at The LINQ\n

As expected, the priciest drinks in Las Vegas are found on the Strip, but a few cheap alternatives are out there. You just need to know where to find ’em.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Sheas: Located between The LINQ Hotel and its outdoor promenade, this lively Irish pub offers more than 50 beers. Between its drink specials and beer pong tables, O’Sheas provides a party atmosphere with live music on weekends.<\/p>\n

Casino Royale:\u00a0Casino Royale isn’t fancy, especially by Strip standards, but you can take advantage of the low-key atmosphere and enjoy one of the best drink deals on Las Vegas Boulevard. The main casino bar serves Budweiser, Corona, Coors and other bottled beers for just $3. Cash only.<\/p>\n

Dino’s Lounge: The closest thing to a neighborhood bar in the tourist corridor, Dino’s Lounge is on a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard where the Strip merges with Downtown. It’s also incredibly affordable with beers and mixed drinks for around $5. An extremely social space, Dino\u2019s is a top spot for pool (for just 50 cents a game) and karaoke. Night owls will appreciate the “graveyard specials” ($7 PBR Pitchers and $4 Jamo shots) Sunday-Wednesday, midnight to 8 a.m.<\/p>\n

Yard House:\u00a0This mid-scale chain may be familiar to visitors from California and Arizona, but that doesn\u2019t change what made it popular in the first place: good food and a beer list rivaling all but the craftiest of beer gardens.<\/p>\n

Fat Tuesday: Known for their frozen margaritas, this is Vegas’ go-to place for an inexpensive buzz. Multiple locations are along the Strip, each with a lengthy shot menu to keep the bill under $5. Enjoy a discount when bringing your oversized plastic cup back for a refill<\/p>\n

Flights: Located inside the Miracle Mile Shops, Flights gets its name from not only a cute aviation theme, but a habit of grouping items into portions of three. (For example, three different sliders on one plate.) The idea carries over to drinks too with rotating happy hour deals throughout the day. Try three different takes on a Margarita, Bloody Mary, Old Fashioned and other favorites.<\/p>\n

Rockhouse: This casual spot in the Grand Canal Shoppes is a cross between a frat house and dive bar with a happy hour that runs 2-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Draft beer, house wine and well cocktails are $7. Take a ride on the mechanical bull before ordering.<\/p>\n

Stage Door:\u00a0The Stage Door is technically a block east of the Strip, but still an easy walk for those looking to score a deal. The “casino” is a glorified slot parlor with a hole-in-the-wall vibe and $1 Budweiser and Bud Light bottles. Retreat from the high prices of the Strip and explore less-touristy areas where some of the best bars and cheapest drinks are found.<\/p>\n

Double Down Saloon: This dive bar is heavy on punk rock attitude with regular live music and old concert posters and stickers plastered over the walls. Most of the drinks are dirt cheap, including the bar’s famous “Ass Juice” – a mysterious punch made with a few different liquors.<\/p>\n

Ellis Island: Ellis Island is a longtime locals favorite east of the Strip. The signature house beer (once brewed on site, but now produced in Utah) is just $6.50 throughout the property. The best seats are in the Front Yard, a great place to watch sports on the big screen and enjoy the natural light through a surrounding atrium.<\/p>\n

Gold Mine Tavern:\u00a0This fun and loose locals bar is open 24\/7 on Henderson’s historic Water Street. The joint dates back to 1965 and the prices haven’t changed too much over the years either. So play a game of pool while sipping on a Jack and Coke, Vodka Cranberry or a draft beer.<\/p>\n

Hard Hat Lounge:\u00a0This historic dive bar dates back to 1962 and is a favorite for live music, especially on Jazz Mondays. THe drinks (and burgers) are always affordable but come by for the twice daily happy hour (2-5 p.m. and 2-5 a.m.) for $4 well drinks, $5 draft beer and $3 PBR.<\/p>\nBest Cheap Vegas Bars Downtown\n Corduroy\n

Whether wandering down the tourist-driven Fremont Street Experience or hanging out with locals in the Fremont East district, it’s pretty easy to find good bars in Downtown Las Vegas<\/a>. Just don’t overlook the best deals on drinks.<\/p>\n

Gold Spike: A clubhouse for adults where fun games are mixed with fun drinks. No other bar in Vegas offers quite as many lawn games or trivia nights. It even has a roller-skating rink.<\/p>\n

The Griffin: This bustling hangout is a nice change of pace from flashier bars nearby. With live music on weekends, guests can order classic cocktails or craft beer on the cheap.<\/p>\n

Oddfellows: Tucked away on the ground floor of the Ogden condo building, this hidden gem has themed music nights and a bar that will take your dollar a long way. There’s usually no cover charge and patrons can order a 12-ounce cocktail at a great price.<\/p>\n

Corduroy: \u00a0Corduroy has a vintage ’70s vibe with a “bubble wall” and old speakers redesigned as a cool art installation. Most cocktails are $14 or less, including Mules on tap. Ask for the Sex on the Beach, served in a pouch.<\/p>\n

Huntridge Tavern: A longtime favorite since the 1960s, Huntridge Tavern is a cozy dive bar in the gritty, often overlooked Huntridge neighborhood – a short drive from the chaos of Fremont Street. It’s known for selling cans of Hamm’s Beer for $1.50.<\/p>\nIf all else fails, go with happy hour\n
