In the above TMZ video, actor and Las Vegas resident Nicolas Cage appears to lose his cool against Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil, who
allegedly grabbed an autograph-seeking fan’s hair, then yanked her to the ground.
While Cage has been embroiled in legal and financial problems over the past decade, including an April 2011 arrest on suspicion of domestic abuse battery (although the charges were ultimately dropped), in the above video, he appears to be the hero.
The fifty-two-year-old Hollywood action icon can be heard yelling at Neil, “Stop this [expletive] now!” as he restrains the heavy metal singer.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police later told reporters Neil, on April 8, was cited for misdemeanor battery against a female fan but was not taken into custody.
The singer and one-time Las Vegas strip-club owner is due in court June 17.
