2016 marks the 6th edition of the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas taking place from June 17th to 19th at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
EDC has grown to be the biggest festival in North America with more than 400,000 attendees over the course of 3 days. The 2016 edition is the 20th in history since the festival’s debut in Los Angeles in 1997, making it extra special. The festival will feature 7 unique stages, including the “kineticFIELD”, which Insomniac’s website describes as “the largest scenic stage in North America” bringing “the broadest beats and the biggest audible treats.” In addition, the festival will feature carnival rides, three-dimensional art featuring fire-breathing metal creatures and LED flora and fauna.
The Electric Daisy Carnival brings together world-class artists who perform in front of thousands of EDM enthusiasts. While the line-up for 2016’s edition hasn’t been released yet, past headliners include the likes of Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Tiesto and more.
