Changes Coming to Las Vegas Pool Parties in 2023

The pool party scene is bigger than ever in Las Vegas.

Beat the spring and summer heat with a reservation at one of Sin City’s best dayclubs. There aren’t any major new openings this year, but some of our favorites are mixing things up for the 2023 seasons. Check out what’s new when lounging, dancing and drinking by the water.

Daylight at Mandalay Bay is fast becoming the best place to wrap up a weekend with events like Sunburst Sundays for EDM and LIT Sundays for hip-hop stars like K-Camp and Too Short.

The Grand Pool at the MGM Grand has a newly refreshed Dive Bar with frozen drink machines, TVs and a walk-up area to order drinks.

Encore Beach Club and XS at the Wynn are eager to welcome rapper Tyga for a new 2023 residency with poolside performances throughout the spring and summer.

Bare Pool Lounge is dropping the tops-optional policy this year, but remains 21-and-over. The Paradise Cafe will serve all three pools in the Mirage pool complex with tropical cocktails and a variety of bites, including breakfast dishes and vegan tacos.

Elia at Virgin Hotels will likely tone down the presence of big-name DJs, while providing a less hectic alternative to busier dayclubs on the Strip.

Soak at the Palms is pretty tame by rowdy dayclub standards, but picks up the pace with DJs and bottle service deals on Industry Tuesdays and DIP Fridays. The pool appears to be welcoming more live entertainment this year like an I Love the ’90s concert on May 26 with Vanilla Ice and Color Me Bad leading the lineup.

The Garden of the Gods pool at Caesars Palace will operate as usual during the day, but now welcomes adults-only Venus Nightswim events after dark.

The M Pool at The M Resort is introducing 100 oz. Mega Margarita Towers in hibiscus, passion fruit, guava, desert pear and watermelon flavors, as well as new shareable cabana platters of charcuterie, fruit, tiger shrimp cocktails or a party combo that includes sliders, mini corn dogs, chicken tenders and fries. However, the biggest party continues to be next door at DayDream Pool Club.

Marquee at the Cosmopolitan will continue to be a hot party destination with the return of Full Bloom and Drenched After Dark events on Sundays. Meanwhile, the Boulevard Pool will have an all-new lineup for its free Monday movie night series and is expanding the Sunset Cocktail Hour to Thursdays and Fridays (6:30-8:30 p.m.).

Resorts World is rebranding its rooftop infinity pool deck as Athena Ultra Infinity Pool, which is adults only and has spectacular Vegas Strip views. Also on property, Ayu Dayclub is welcoming Elderbrook and Alan Walker to a loaded lineup that already features acts like Tiësto, Kaskade and Zedd. Look out for new Ayu Beach House parties on Sundays.

The Tropicana Pool at the Tropicana has a “Tequilas in the Desert” theme for the season, featuring tequila-infused fruit, carne asada or chicken burritos and shrimps tacos plus Margarita cocktails like a Coco Mana Margarita with Termana, pineapple juice, coconut and lime in a souvenir cup.

The new Rouge Room cocktail and champagne lounge at Red Rock Resort has an intimate outdoor pool deck that’s adults-only with cabana reservations available. Newly installed stairs make it easy to travel to and from the main pool complex.
