Jewel nightclub at Aria Opening Soon

Aria’s new intimate and luxurious nightclub, Jewel, is set to open on May 19th .
Taking over the space previously occupied by the now defunct Haze, Jewel reintroduces the nightlife scene to the CityCenter property after an 18+ month absence since Haze closed its gates. The memories of the infamous Haze will hopefully be erased by Hakkasan Group’s newest crown jewel (pun intended); the new nightclub is being marketed as a more intimate venue among a portfolio of mega clubs, since it will only measure 24,000 sq. ft., much smaller than say Hakkasan or Omnia.

The two-level venue designed by Rockwell group will have a maximum capacity of 2000 guests between the main club and a mezzanine level; the latter one will feature five exclusive VIP skyboxes for added privacy, each one of them will be unique with its own personality. The staircase leading to the mezzanine level will be lined up with LED screens (it seems Jewel is big on LED screens). The main club’s circular dome ceiling will be covered with over 1,400 sq. ft. of LED ribbons, and as seen in the above rendering, the DJ booth will have a wall of LED video screens for top notch lighting effects.

Along with the opening date announcement made by Hakkasan Group, two new renderings were released. The entrance staircase almost appears to be some kind of portal into a different dimension; maybe that’s what it is supposed to be, a portal to a world of fun (see below).

No performer lineup has been released yet, but Hakkasan has promised world-class DJs, as expected. Jewel will open exactly a week before Memorial Day Weekend, so it is safe to assume that they want to work out all the hiccups before one of the busiest weekends in Vegas. We will keep you updated when a DJ-lineup is announced.
