The Big Fight is coming to the Strip, be prepared to witness what some are calling the fight of the century. The city will be at full capacity, bars and casino floors will be packed, nightclubs and dayclubs will be insane, no doubt stretching their budgets to bring the hottest DJ talents possible. On May 2nd two of the biggest boxers of all time will finally settle who the best of the best is; Mayweather vs. Pacquiao’s fight might just be the biggest money maker sporting event in Vegas history.
If you are one of the lucky ones to be in Vegas but not so lucky to be at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, then you may be interested in viewing parties. None have been announced yet as tickets to the fight have to be sold out first. However there are some things to keep in mind:
- Since the fight is taking place at the MGM Grand most MGM Resorts will have viewing parties. Mandalay Bay, Aria and Mirage have hosted ballroom viewing parties in the past. Hyde at the Bellagio and The Pub at the Monte Carlo have also hosted viewing parties before, so look out for these places as they will announce the viewing parties for Fight Weekend soon.
- Admission cost for viewing parties will be in the $100-$500 range. For the Mayweather vs. Maidana fight viewing parties at MGM Resorts were $75, but this fight is breaking all records, so do expect them to be a few hundred dollars.
- Sapphire strip club is known for fight night party packages, so a viewing party for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao should be announced soon.
Check back often as we will update viewing parties when they are announced!
