Spring Events in Las Vegas 2018

As the weather heats up, Las Vegas is posing some fierce competition as one of the most in-demand Spring Break destinations in the country. It’s a busy time for pools, nightclubs, and festivals, so check out all the excitement throughout the season.

Big Spring Events, Dinners, and Festivals

The Whisky Experience – Apr 4-7
Lovers of fine spirits will gather in Las Vegas for four days of exclusive tastings, master classes, and culinary experiences, including a dinner at Joel Robuchon. Founded by Mahesh Patel, a passionate aficionado himself, the event is now in its eighth year, drawing attendees from around the world. It all culminates at the Nth Show at Wynn Encore, a grand tasting that’s geared toward an upscale crowd with attendance intentionally capped to encourage a comfortable atmosphere.

Winemaker’s Table Dinner – Apr 5
Enjoy a six-course meal, featuring authentic Greek flavors, at Estiatorio Milos at the Cosmopolitan. The monthly Winemaker’s Table Dinner will feature pairings from Santorini and Crete. Seatings are available throughout the evening.

Great Vegas Festival of Beer – Apr 6-7Great Las Vegas Festival Morledge
The Great Vegas Festival of Beer is a great example of the growing craft brew movement in Las Vegas. Taking place every spring, the largest beer tasting in Nevada takes over several blocks of Downtown to offer hundreds of samples with a focus on local and regional breweries. A kick-off party, the Mad Craft Experience, is a more intimate affair that brings lovers of food and beer together the night before the main tasting.

Toddy Shop Brunch – Apr 14
Acclaimed chef Hemant Kishore hosts a one-day-only pop-up brunch at Public Works Coffee Bar in Henderson. It’s a rare opportunity to enjoy his unique take on South Indian cuisine in a fun environment. The theme will carry over to mimosas and Bloody Marys as well.

Weed Day Block Party – Apr 20
April 20th (or “four twenty”) has been dubbed Weed Day to celebrate the benefits of marijuana and it takes on a whole new meaning now that recreational pot is legal in Nevada. To celebrate, The+Source dispensary is hosting a block party featuring pop-ups from local vendors, giveaways, and an opportunity to win one pound of marijuana. That’s a lot of weed!

Las Vegas Uncork’d – May 10-13
Hosted by Bon Appetit magazine, Uncork’d is the biggest culinary event of the year in Las Vegas, featuring special events and dinners by the world’s best known celebrity chefs. Highlights include a Hell’s Kitchen dinner with Gordon Ramsay, sushi with Nobu Matsuhisa, and a Mother’s Day brunch with Giada de Laurentiis. The main event, however, is the poolside.

Electric Daisy Carnival – May 18-20
This is EDM lovers’ paradise, 400,000 attendees gather to see the top DJ’s in the world perform at various stages full of neon lights. But EDC is more than just an EDM festival, it is also a very unique carnival and a place to express yourself. There are art displays, circus-style performances throughout the venue and attendees dress with colorful accessories and revealing costumes. See the DJ lineup and get more info.
