Las Vegas Events This Weekend

There’s nothing else quite like AREA15 in Las Vegas. The large mysterious warehouse near Interstate 15 is a mixed-use entertainment space, where you can sip cocktails under a glowing LED tree at Oddwood, check out massive art installations at Art Island, or soar through a virtual skyline at Birdly. AREA15 is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. 

It's a bit of a secret, but Las Vegas has one of the most intriguing Chinatown dining scenes in the country. Whether it's robatta-grilled meats at Raku, spicy Sichuan at Chengdu Taste or even a casual take on French fine dining at Partage, there is incredible variety to be enjoyed throughout the district. Check out bars like Golden Tiki for cocktails or the Sand Dollar for whiskey. Chinatown is just west of the Strip on about two miles of Spring Mountain Road easily reachable by taxi or rideshare.

This outdoor bar takes it cue from Brazilian street parties with bands, DJs and bartenders spinning bottles in front of Harrah's. One of the rowdiest parties near the sidewalk on the Las Vegas Strip. Carnaval Court is free and open daily from 12 noon to 3am. 

There's something for everyone on Fremont Street, especially if you're looking for a good drink. Oak & Ivy offers expertly made craft cocktails, while the Griffin is known for its cozy lounge vibe and strong drinks. Get a taste of old school Vegas at the Peppermill Lounge. Take a seat by the indoor firepit, surrounded by vintage neon lights. A neighboring diner has burgers, breakfast, and other greasy favorites. The Peppermill is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But you can take advantage of a long happy hour 3-6 p.m.

It's hard to find a more fun place to drive golf balls in Las Vegas. Located behind the MGM Grand, Topgolf has three levels of hitting bays plus food, drink and even a couple swimming pools. The Las Vegas Strip serves as the backdrop and is especially colorful at night. Topgolf also hosts special events like concerts by national acts and sports viewing parties. 

Hours are from 9am to 2am.

Time to place your bets! Las Vegas now has two major-league sports teams: The Raiders in the NFL and the Golden Knights in the NHL. While you can't currently attend the games in person due to the pandemic, you can still watch on TV at your favorite sports bar and place a bet at the nearest hotel sports book. Who knows, maybe you'll win big?

Built from old cargo shipping containers, the park has shops, bars, restaurants and live entertainment. Retail hours are 11am-9pm daily. The park is 21-and-over after 11pm. More to do downtown.

Marvel at the classic neon marquees, casinos and people watching on this five-block pedestrian mall covering a classic stretch of Las Vegas. The massive overhead canopy hosts six-minute Viva Vision video and audio shows on the hour from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. More to do downtown.
