Entertainment is bigger and better than ever in Las Vegas. The Sphere is dominating the attention with appearances by the Eagles matching live music with the high-tech splash and sizzle of the dome-shaped venue. The Venetian's other new concert space, Voltaire, has a series of intimate shows by Christina Aguilera. The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has no shortage of star power either, welcoming residencies by the likes of Garth Brooks and Rod Stewart while saying goodbye to Adele in late 2024 and hello to Blake Shelton in early 2025. Planet Hollywood is a great home for country acts like Shania Twain although Keith Urban is defecting to the Fontainebleau this year. Resorts World is thriving, however, with repeat appearances by Carrie Underwood, a new residency by Janet Jackson and a hint that Celine Dion is ready for a comeback. Dolby Live at the Park MGM has a loaded lineup of Maroon 5, Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey and Bruno Mars. Meanwhile, don't overlook big-name touring acts at the T-Mobile Arena, MGM Grand Garden Arena or Allegiant Stadium.

Sitting in the audience of a Cirque du Soleil show is a bucket-list event for any Las Vegas visitor. The production company's newest spectacular, Mad Apple at New York-New York, puts a Big Apple spin on the concept. Meanwhile, shows like O at the Bellagio, Ka at the MGM Grand, Michael Jackson One at Mandalay Bay and Mystere at Treasure Island remain in high demand. Wynn unleashed its own big-budget spectacular, Awakening, with a centralized stage, borrowing elements of Cirque without a direct affiliation. For something on the raunchy side, check out Absinthe, a long-running show under the big top at Caesars Palace. It's produced by Spiegelworld, the company behind Atomic Saloon at the Venetian and the brand-new DiscoShow at The LINQ.
