The Fontainebleau is staking a claim in the Strip nightclub scene with LIV, an offshoot of the original in Miami Beach by David Grutman's Groot Hospitality. The club spans two levels with 15,000 square feet of party space, making for a relatively intimate experience with a centralized DJ booth and a massive LED video wall as the backdrop.
The roster is beyond impressive. LIV has pulled Calvin Harris out of semi-retirement to work the turntables again and has masterminded a deal to share Tiesto with Tao Group venues like Hakkasan and Omnia. LIV is also pushing up-and-coming DJs like John Summit, Metro Boomin' and Australian sensation Dom Dolla. Fans of Vanderpump Rules will be pumped to see James Kennedy finally get a Vegas residency at LIV.
The bars have better spirits and cocktails than the average nightclub and the 62 VIP tables offer excellent views of the stage, no matter where you are in the club. The sound system and lighting are among the very best in Vegas. Just know that waits outside the front entrance can get long. This is the newest, hottest club in Vegas, after all. The same lineup of DJs will also make appearances throughout the spring and summer at LIV Beach, a sister outdoor party spot on the Fontainebleau pool deck.
