Delano SuitesKing Suite, Queen Suite
The Hotel, a part of the Mandalay Bay complex, has received a makeover in the highly anticipated Delano all-suite boutique hotel. And this is something completely new on the Strip. The Delano is a smoke-free and gaming-free resort for the sophisticated traveler. Guests can visit the adjoining Mandalay Bay hotel to try their hands at the tables or slots, but Delano provides the stress- and worry-free environment unheard of in Sin City. And it is a hit. Globetrotters from all over are coming to experience the oasis that was inspired by the Mojave Desert.
Las Vegas Travel Guides
No matter what room you stay in, you will feel like you’ve just checked into a spa resort. Every accommodation is considered a suite, complete with one bedroom, master bath, guest bath, and private living area. You can choose from seven different suites: the king or queen with or without a Strip view, the panoramic, penthouse, or dog friendly. That’s right, don’t forget to make your pets feel like royalty. While any of these suites will make your stay in Vegas unforgettable, the penthouse is ideal for entertaining. With floor to ceiling windows overlooking Vegas and the mountains and seating for eight, you will be the toast of the party. Rates start at $119 in the off-peak season.
You can escape the heat of Vegas in the private Delano pool which is scheduled to open for the season in 2015. But while you are waiting, guests can always enjoy the waters at Mandalay Bay which is linked to the Delano. Mandalay offers the Moorea Beach Club, the Toptional and sumptuous European-style club. The Delano also gives guests access to Mandalay’s beachside casino, a three-story, glass-enclosed revelry just steps from the pool where you can try your hand at Blackjack, Roulette, and Craps.
Slip into something comfortable and come for drinks at The Franklin, Delano’s new lounge. The mood lighting during the day and the DJ takes over come the night. The Delano plays host to two sophisticated restaurants: Della’s Kitchen and the Mix at Delano. You can tempt your palette at the farm-to-table Della’s Kitchen. With locally grown ingredients, Della’s serves both a hearty breakfast and lunch. Head over to Mix at Delano for exquisite French-American cuisine. Overlooking the Strip, Mix serves up signature dishes like live Maine lobster and farm-raised pork to be mixed with your choice of over 5,000 wines. The Mix is only open for dinner.
