The
Resort
The Monte Carlo is the epitome of
unpretentious, understated elegance. Rated AAA 4 Diamond, there are
excellent restaurants,
lounges, pools, a number of wedding packages,
a handsomely appointed poker room, a comfortable sports book, and a
busy casino that has everything you’re looking for in gambling.
Located in a prime spot on the strip, next to the new CityCenter
complex and across the street from the MGM, it puts you right in the
thick of things without having to stay at a mega-sized hotel. The
rooms are standard,

full sized suites, with marble
showers, granite vanities, and all the amenities.
The Pool
The pool area features a lagoon pool, a wave pool, and a lazy river
as well as two other swimming pools. There is a sand volleyball pit
for those who get bored just laying around in the sun. Enjoy
poolside food and beverages as well. For personal attention and a
bit of privacy, rent a cabana with comfortable teak loungers and
flat screen TVs, plus a personal attendant to bring your food and
drinks.
Fitness Center
After eating and drinking to excess in the fine dining and drinking
venues, you can work it off in the Fitness Center, where you can
luxuriate in a steam room, sauna, and whirlpool after a good workout
on their state-of-the-art equipment.
Entertainment
If you want to see a good comedy show, Frank Caliendo does both
comedy and impressions of famous celebrities and political figures.
For a more lively venue, see Jabbawockeez, an unusual dance crew
that wears white masks and gloves, concentrating on communicating
through sound and movement. When you arrive, also ask about any
special events that may be coming up during your stay.
Restaurants
For a romantic dining adventure, try contemporary French food at
Andre’s. Chef André Rochat brings you a selection of 1500 vintage
wines to highlight his cuisine in the AAA 4-Diamond restaurant. For
an elegant steak dinner, Monte Carlo offers BRAND Steakhouse, a
modern, large restaurant that borders the pit. D. Vino is where you
head for good Italian food, and if you are craving whimsical Asian
food, Dragon Noodle Company is the spot for you. When you are
looking for action, Diablo’s Cantina is the place to go. Diablo’s is
a Mexican restaurant, a hot nightclub, and a downstairs bar that
boasts the Wheel O’Sin, where you can spin for great happy hour
deals! Enter the Cantina from the Strip, have a drink and then
wander upstairs to the outdoor dining and stage area, for some live
music. This place hops till the wee hours!
